The piano performance program at the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA is highly selective, inviting a small number of piano majors each year to join its two piano studios.  The organ studio also accepts a limited number of organ majors each year into its organ studio.

The keyboard program is known for its special attention to individual students, an internationally renowned faculty of concert artists, and ample performance opportunities such as a weekly recital series, solo and concerto competitions, Abell Series  guest artist master classes, collaboration with instrumentalists and composers, involvement in chamber music and contemporary music, work with composers, studio classes, and interdisciplinary festivals.

Through an atmosphere that combines nurture, hard work and inspiration, UCLA piano students receive a one-of-a-kind experience.
