The Gluck Vocal Jazz Quartet was first conceived of in 2015 and was finally put together for the 2016-17 academic year. Its members include: Thomas Hollow (Senior-Vocal Performance), Emily Scott (Second Year Masters-Vocal Performance), Tyler Houston (Junior-Vocal Performance with a Discipline in Musical Theater), and Kimiko Daniels (Freshman-Jazz Piano Performance Major). The group was originally founded with the intention of providing a larger variety of non-classical vocal groups to the Los Angeles community and to showcase the diverse talents of the School of Music’s vocal students. Each performer was selected due to their affinity and love not just for classical repertoire, but also for  Musical Theater, R&B, Jazz, and Standards repertory. The quartet is looking forward to getting its first year started and to inspire the Los Angeles community with its talents!
